Position Details: This is an apprenticeship role, working directly with a dedicated mentor Art Advisor based in Boston, and offers a base salary plus benefits. The position includes periodic travel to Boston and other markets across the country for training, client work, and project support. All TurningArt offices operate on a hybrid schedule: team members work in-office Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. About TurningArt: TurningArt partners with clients and artists nationwide to deliver curated, local art programs that create more engaging, memorable, and meaningful environments. We work across industries, from healthcare and workplace to multifamily and hospitality, managing everything from concept through installation. The Role: This Associate Art Advisor role is designed as an apprenticeship for a future career in art advisory and sales. In this role, you’ll work closely with and be mentored by an experienced Art Advisor, supporting them through the entire sales and project cycle, from research and proposal development to client communications and project coordination, while learning consultative sales best practices. You’ll also take initiative in local relationship-building efforts, such as identifying opportunities and attending site visits, networking events, and installations, to develop your own market presence and advance toward an Art Advisor position. The start date for this position is anticipated between October 2025 and January 2026, with a greater likelihood of January 2026: exceptions will be made for the right candidate. Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Shadow and support Art Advisors in client meetings to learn the full sales and project cycle - Assist with proposal creation, budget development, curation support, and preparation of work orders and install guides - Research and maintain market intelligence on target accounts and upcoming opportunities for potential client lead and client account engagement - Attend prospective client site visits and active client installations - Proactively identify and attend local networking events and create business development opportunities - Coordinate and track post-install relationship touchpoints to support client retention and expansion - Maintain accurate records for leads, opportunities, and client activity across CRM databases - Contribute to team resource library to support best in class proposal materials, curatorial tools, and vendor information - Support initiatives, sales goals, and special projects across the New Business team Qualifications: - Educational background or early career experience in sales - Educational background or early career experience in art and design preferred - Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through - Enthusiastic learner with excellent communication skills - Comfortable engaging with clients in person and representing the brand professionally - Demonstrated self-starter and ability to work both independently and within a team - Proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying clear attention to detail - Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, regularly evolving, entrepreneurial environment - BA/BS degree How to Apply Please email careers@turningart.com with your cover letter and resume and use the job title and location in the subject line, thank you!
