Join fellow GAM members for a free, virtual field trip to the Georgia Southern Museum to view their newest exhibit, Let’s Get Dressed. The exhibit is curated by Dr. Addie Martindale of the Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design Department and designed by senior design students in the Art Department.

This exhibit celebrates the variety of identities that we have among our Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff. We are all individuals, so how we dress is an individual experience that reflects aspects of our identities, including our ethnicity, gender, religion or culture, ability, and body size. Within our society, some individuals’ identities are represented more than others. However, all people have wonderful and unique elements of their identity that should not be hidden.

dmdg2

dmdg2 works with museums to fuel connection. Connection between people, history, places, each other, and our world. We’re in the business of creating beautifully unique spaces for people to learn, experience and share, through the practice of museum planning and exhibit design.  We work exclusively with museums allowing our team to dedicate their skills and practical application to this unique market.  The museum business is unique in itself and it takes creative people who understand the ins and outs, ups and downs and overall process of what it takes to run a museum.  Each project is special in its own way and we take the time to learn about what makes it special.  We capitalize on its strengths and turn its weakness’ into strengths.
